An Bradan Feasa / Salmon of Knowledge

This piece takes its inspiration from the old Irish story of the Bradan Feasa – the salmon said to hold all of the world’s knowledge. The surface of the clay is full of small detailed fish, each one moving together in a quiet flow. Finished in soft gold or sea blue and set in a simple white box frame, it’s all about curiosity, wisdom and the idea that understanding comes bit by bit.
